What Super Foods Help To Fight Acne

A healthy dietary plan is certain to offer an effective solution to manage the bad skin. A well-chosen selection of fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, etc. can help to harmonize the hormones that experience imbalances during the teenage years. The nutrients contained in food help to combat changes in the skin that can lead to an outbreak of acne. Here are several foods that help fight against acne:

Avocado
Avocado is a great choice to introduce more vitamin E to the system which helps to protect the skin against environmental toxins and a poor dietary plan. Increasing the intake of vitamin E will give the body more immunity to fight the bacteria that can cause the outbreak of acne on the skin. Also, vitamin E is easily sourced from olive oil, peanuts, walnuts, and almonds.

Fish or Flax Seeds
Fish or flax seeds include a high concentration of omega-3 fatty acids that are great for the body and skin. Omega-3 is able to help with reducing the build up of inflammation that can result in clogged pores. A once or twice weekly serving of mackerel, sardine, or salmon is highly beneficial, while adding 1 or 2 tbsp of flax seeds to nutritious shakes, smoothies, or soup on a daily basis is certain to help with increasing the intake of omega-3.

Kiwifruit
Kiwifruit is loaded with vitamin C and includes more than a similar weight in oranges. Vitamin C isn't directly responsible for curing the outbreak of acne, but is helpful for promoting a healthy and strong immune system which is needed to help fight off infections. A regular source of vitamin C helps with the healthy formation of elastin, collagen, and cell walls which increases the body's natural healing properties. Alternative sources of this water-soluble nutrient are guava, bell peppers, lemons, and oranges.

Carrots
Carrots are loaded with beta-carotene which is transformed into vitamin A when digested. Vitamin A is one of the most effective antioxidants to help promote healthy skin cells and texture. Other great sources of this nutrient include cantaloupes, red bell peppers, sweet potato, and tomatoes.

Pumpkin Seeds
Pumpkin seeds are a great choice to add more zinc to the daily diet. A deficiency in zinc can result in a weak immune system, which means the chance of catching an infection is higher. So, by increasing the zinc in the diet, it is possible to protect the skin and prevent a flare up that relates to bacterial invasions. Wheat germ, chickpeas, broccoli, spinach, and sesame seeds are other sources of this essential trace element.
