Easy Hairstyles For Long Hair

Most women enjoy having long hair because they can do virtually any hairstyle that is known to man. From simple waves to complicated buns, having long hair can do just that. However, if you are getting tired of having the same boring hairstyle, here are some interesting hairstyles that you can try out.

1. Long Side Ponytail

This hairstyle is simple yet romantic. Start with soft and bouncy curls with the use of a curling iron. Set it slightly with hairspray. Gather the hair on to the side and secure with an elastic or a decorative hair tie.

2. Preppy Updo

This chic and sophisticated hairstyle may seem complicated at first but it's actually really easy. Gather your hair in a low ponytail and then start twisting it to form a bun. Secure it with an elastic. Top it off with an elegant headband and you're all set.

3. The Fishtail

Braids are a great hairstyle option. French braids are a classic example, however we will take a step further with fishtail braids. Fishtail braids may seem a bit complicated at first, but with practice, it can be done. There are some tutorials that can offer you easy ways to do this. Embellish your braid with decorative clips and you are all set for a bohemian, girly flair.

4. The Sleek Updo

If you prefer having a clean updo without sacrificing volume, all you have to do is to gather the front section of your hair. Push it towards the front so that it will create a slight bump. Secure this section with a bobby pin. Next, gather the hair into a medium ponytail, twist it until it forms a bun. Secure with a hair tie and you're done.

5. The Half-Up Bun

The half up bun is really easy to do. First, grab the front section of your hair. Slightly push it forward to create a bump and then secure with a hair tie. Next, gather up the middle part of your hair in order to create a half up ponytail. Twist it until you are able to create a bun. Secure with a simple elastic or a decorative hair tie. Check to see if everything is in place. Apply hairspray to place everything in place. You can either leave the rest of your hair straight, or you can also use a curling iron to create soft curls.

As you can see, you can do so many things with your hair aside from the boring and usual ponytails. Try these options and give them a go. With these hairstyles, you will never stick with the same boring hairstyle again.

Yoga does not have to be difficult for it to effectively manage and relieve pain! Find out why today is a good day to start your yoga practice!

The easier "schools" of yoga include: Kripalu Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Integral Yoga and Iyengar Yoga. Please note that Iyengar yoga can be gentle or rigorous depending on your teacher!

Here is a brief list of Yoga Classes to avoid if you're seeking a gentle way to learn Yoga. The classes that are physically rigorous, and thus not ideal for beginners (unless you're a real athlete already) are:

Power Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga with Weights, and Bikram Yoga aka Hot Yoga.

The good news is that you can reap the benefits of yoga, whether you take a gentle class or a rigorous class. These benefits include: stretching and strengthening both body & mind, finding your balance in more ways than one, and taking time to breathe deeply, relax, and enjoy life in the present moment.

So, how can you start your Yoga practice? Simply call the Yoga Centers and Health Clubs nearest your home and ask them about the kinds of yoga classes they offer. Ask them if they offer a Yoga Class for Beginners. Most Yoga Centers make a point of doing this!

Then you can follow-up by trying different Yoga teachers and Yoga Classes in your neighborhood and finding at least 2 per week that fit your schedule.

Finally, you can purchase a Yoga DVD, either online or at your local health food store. Please be sure that it includes gentle, easy poses that are good for beginners! This can help you jump start your daily practice at home.

Essential Tips To Keep In Mind To Make Perfect Chocolate Mousse All The Time

Chocolate mousse ranks as one of the top desserts of people who have a sweet tooth everywhere in the world. Due to its light, soft and creamy texture, you can't help yourself from being addicted to this luscious sweet treat.

What also makes this chocolate dessert popular is the fact that this sweet dish is quite easy to make. You don't need a lot of ingredients if you're making a basic mousse. There are also some chocolate mousse recipes that only require two ingredients. In addition, making this dish is not too complicated and painstaking as well.

Although they are basically easy to make, you can still find yourself failing at making the most delicious and perfect chocolate mousse. You may come up with a thin chocolate product that doesn't even resemble a chocolate mouse or any appealing sweet dish. To make sure that you always make the most gorgeous and delectable chocolate mousse, bear in mind the following tips:

• Always properly separate the eggs. When separating the eggs, begin by cracking one egg and holding it upright so that the crack runs horizontally across the middle of the egg. Carefully lift off the top eggshell and shake the shell contents back and forth until the white is entirely on one side of the shell and the yellow is on the other. After doing this, pour the contents of each side of the shell into the bowl. If the yolk breaks while you're separating the eggs, don't use them for the mouse. Don't allow even a tiny amount of egg yolk to slip in with the whites so that you can get the lightest and airiest results for this sweet dish.

• To create smoother and creamier chocolate for the mouse, use the "brain marie" technique. This means you have to melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in metal bowl placed over a saucepan that contains simmering water.

• Always use well cleaned and dried bowls and beaters when making this dessert. Any impurities on your preparation and cooking tools will prevent the egg whites from peaking properly, which results in a heavy rather than light mousse.

• When you've beaten the eggs into soft peaks, you have to fold them into the rest of the ingredients. To do this, slide a wooden spoon or plastic spatula along the bottom of the bowl and lift the contents up while keeping the spoon or spatula horizontal. Doing the opposite or stirring the ingredients together will result in the eggs will lose all their air bubbles and the mousse won't come out light and airy.

Baking Homemade Brownies

Baking homemade brownies is one of life's sweetest delights. The smell of the brownies baking in the oven never fails to attract every family member to the kitchen to await the finished treat. When they are finally done it doesn't take but a few seconds for them to disappear, having been devoured by everyone who could get a hold of one.

The only hard part of preparing brownies is the preparation and the cleanup afterward. It takes longer to prepare and bake brownies than it does for them to be eaten, especially if they come out delicious. For this very reason many people prefer to buy brownies from the store and miss out on the deliciousness of home-made brownies. Following these simple tips ensures that you will have delicious brownies that the whole family can enjoy with little or no hassle.

1. Don't over mix when preparing the batter and if possible mix the batter by hand. This will ensure that the brownie does not come out bland or too dry.

2. Spay the bottom of the pan with non-stick cooking spray, making sure to cover the surface evenly. You can also dust the pan lightly with cocoa powder. Using cocoa powder ensures that you won't have white residue on your brownies as you would if you were to use flour.

3. Follow the recipe instructions carefully especially the temperature and cooking time instructions. To test if the brownies are done stick a toothpick into the brownies. If they come out clean it means that the brownies are done.

4. If you want to keep the brownies from over-drying you can wrap them with plastic wrap and put them in a zip bag for added protection.

As a final tip: enjoy your brownies with your whole family, give them as gifts, share them with your co-workers, and don't forget to make plenty for everyone.

How to Make a Ballet Bun

The perfect ballet bun is designed to be both beautiful and functional. It is usually held between the crown and the middle of the back of the head. It should also be held very tight in order to prevent it from falling out, and to maintain a clean and polished look for the ensemble.

When putting your hair in a ballet bun, it's a good idea to start with slightly damp hair as this will make it easier for you to keep your hair close to your head.

1. Collect the hair using your hands and then use a brush to comb it back making sure it's nice and tight.

2. Use a hair elastic to put your hair into a ponytail, wrapping the elastic as many times as possible. This will ensure the hair is nice and tight and that there are no stray bits sticking out.

3. Split the ponytail in two and plait each one individually. Try to keep the hair as tight into the plait as possible. If you have thick hair, instead of plaiting simply twist each ponytail.

4. Wrap each plait around the hair elastic, using pins and grips at the sides and top to make sure all hair is as tight into the bun as possible.

5. Use a little hair spray or spray gel to hold down any stray hairs, and place a bun net over the bun to hold it in place.

You now have the perfect ballet bun! you can decorate it with a crochet bun cover, hairband or scrunchie.
